Upgrade to Wordpress 2.1

Finally, my blog is now running under the WordPress 2.1 Engine. One of the biggest worries I had was the compatibility of my theme (which I have modified a lot from the original Connections theme) and the compatibility of my plugins (the most important being Ultimate Tag Warrior).

Well, I obtained the latest versions of the plugins, and set about updating the blog software. After updating, I thought why not try the old versions of the plugins so I went and activated them all, and Voila; they all worked. So, in the spirit of not wanting to fix things that are not broken, I did not upgrade the plugins.

The only thing that DID go wrong was that my last post got deleted somehow. I had to rewrite it.
