The Idiocy of Crowds
Read this article some time ago and forgot to blog about it. An excerpt from the article: “The effectiveness of groups, teamwork, collaboration, and consensus is largely a myth. In many cases, individuals do much better when on their own. Our bias toward groups is counterproductive. And the technology of ubiquitous connectedness is making the problem worse.” The link is here.
I would tend to agree with these comments having seen some of this at my work place.
