SyncMyCal Update – Syncing with Google Calendar is Easier than Ever
I have talked about SyncMyCal a couple of times before on my blog (here and here). Here is a roundup of this amazing software which is getting better every day. Since their release towards the end of last year, they have released 5 versions, and made 13 releases with various new features and bug fixes. Here is a full list of what they support:
- Of course, FULL, bi-directional syncing between Outlook and Google Calendar
- Supported OS: Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
- Supported Outlook: Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007
- Support for recurring events
- Support for Outlook Exchange and Web Proxy Environments
- Auto Sync
- Auto Update
- Auto Fetch available Google Calendars
- Free/Busy information publishing
Aside from these features which are already present (and many more which are promised on their blog), there are many nice usability features present throughout the software. The Lite version is a must have and if you are serious about maintaining a calendar in both Google and Outlook, then the $25 is not too much for the Pro version.
I use the Pro version.
Update: SyncMyCal is also now listed in Google’s gallery of Enterprise Products.
