Quick Send Gmail using SlickRun
I use SlickRun to speed up my life on my laptop. An article on LifeHacker inspired me to create a new magic word. If you are the kind that always keeps yourself logged in to Gmail (or Google) in your favorite browser, then this will be really useful for you.
Now, to create the magic word, fireup the “New Magic Word…” option on SlickRun. Then fill out the options as shown below:
The MagicWord is a word of your choice. For the FileName or URL, enter whichever browser you normally use (I use Firefox) and then in Parameters enter https://mail.google.com/mail/?view=cm&ui=1&tf=0&to=&fs=1.
Test and Save the MagicWord. That’s it, you are done.

You could also use Launchy to do this.
Name: Whatever you want, but I’ll use Send here.
Program: https://mail.google.com/mail/?view=cm&ui=2&tf=0&fs=1&to=$$&su=$$&body=$$
Parameter: $$ $$ $$
So it would be
[Alt-Space(Depending on your Launchy shortcut)]
then
Send [TAB] {Mail Recipent} [TAB] {Subject} [TAB] {Body} [ENTER]
And you’ll be shown with a Gmail Compose window with what you typed in.

Of course, but I use SlickRun and not Launchy
However, thanks for posting this, for anyone who is using Launchy.
Cheers
