Habitually Good

It’s been some time since I have been searching for Preview Handlers for Outlook 2007 that would work on Windows XP. Stephen Toub wrote an article and also provided a Framework with a lot of handlers in a MSDN Magazine article, but his implementation only works for Windows Vista. I tried following up on Ryan Gregg’s advice (which is present as a sidebar in Stephen’s article), but my lack of knowledge on COM kept me from creating these Handlers for Outlook 2007 on Windows XP.

But all that is in the past because Gil Azar has implemented a set of Preview Handlers which work on Windows XP. His handlers include:

• PDF
• HTML/HTM/XML
• Windows Media Player Formats
• All of the Stephen Toub’s Handlers
• CS/VB/SQL/JS
