Outlook 2007 – My Tale of Woes
Ever since I upgraded to Office 2007 I have had problems. Outlook 2007 is too slow.
- While typing emails, my outlook mail editor freezes every so often (around every 2 sentences typed) for a 5-6 seconds.
- Every time I go to a folder after a few days (and I have many) it spends a lot of time ‘preparing a view’.
- I have a habit of clicking the email in the list and viewing it in the preview pane. Every time I click an email, it takes forever for the preview to show up.
- Once in a while it simply hangs.
I have a pretty decent configuration (2GB RAM, 2.16 GHz Core Duo, 7200 rpm Hard Drive, etc.).
I am hoping for a patch soon to fix all these issues.
