Honda Civic – The Feeling So Far
I had blogged about the fact that I had bought myself a new car some time ago. It’s been just over a month now and here is an overview of Likes and Dislikes.
Likes First
- Super Beautiful: every time I park it and start moving away, I can’t help but pause, turnaround, and sigh.
- Very nice interiors
- The Air Conditioning (HVAC) is very effective and fast.
- Pretty Good Acceleration, Handles Nicely, and Good Braking – I haven’t put it through its paces yet as I haven’t had a chance to go long distance.
- One of the smallest but best things is the number of lights there are inside the cabin of the car. It is really cool.
- My wife loves the height adjustment and the fact that she doesn’t have to change gears anymore (as ours is an automatic).
- Nice Dashboard. I thought that it would be too gaudy, but it’s very natural and very comfortable to look at.
- The feature where the audio volume increases as I go faster.
- Did I mention that it is SUPER BEAUTIFUL?
Dislikes
- The cabin is not as quiet as I had expected.
- The fact that there are no audio controls on the steering wheel.
- No factory-fitted leather seats.
- Low Mileage (but that is something I knew while buying). I get about 8kmpl.
- The boot is a little small (at least so it seems) for a big car.
- Of the two keys I got, only one was with a remote control, the other was manual.
Well, that’s all for now. I will post more as I experience more and more of this super beautiful car.
