Firefox and IE – Restore Tabs

One of the things which is good in the new versions of both the browsers I use: IE and FireFox, is the ability to restore tabs. Till recently I didn’t know that Firefox had this ability (other than restoring on a crash/shutdown, which is very useful).

With IE you can choose this every time you close the browser, such as shown in the screen shot below:

In Firefox you can configure it from Tools->Options->Main, as shown below:

I like IE because I can choose each time what I want to do. While Firefox offers the advantage of auto-recover in case of a crash or a shutdown.

  1. I turned on my computer today, and my tabs were gone. Do you know how to get them back on my computer? I’ve tried going to Internet Options and looking at the Tabs Settings, but it doesn’t change anything, no matter what I do. Could you please help?
