Fighting Diabetes with Team Hanselman

One of my favorite bloggers has put a post recently about Diabetes. Scott himself is a Type I diabetic and has suffered the disease for a decade or so. He has put together a goal of raising $50,000 for fighting Diabetes. My father is a diabetic, although not Type I. And I have already started showing the signs.

Diabetes is a huge problem in India as well. And it is moving towards the younger populace now. Any effort that we make will only help; so, I urge anyone who ever comes across this blog entry to please help out the best they can.

Towards this effort, I will be donating a grand (or paltry) sum of $10 to Team Hanselman (for me $10 is a lot of money).

If I can send even 1 or 2 readers towards Scott’s site, this post would be worth it. Visit http://www.hanselman.com/fightdiabetes to read about this effort and find information about Diabetes. And if you would like to donate right away, then go directly to http://www.hanselman.com/fightdiabetes/donate.

Also, if you don’t want to donate for diabetes, but feel generous anyway, then checkout http://blog.gadodia.net/index.php?tag=social-responsibility. I have posts which talk about other places where you can help out.
