ya gmail is good that way, i have given up on my yahoo id because of spams.

btw: i get a jscript error on your blog , is that widgetbucks ? i rem about some post dicussing this.

How are you doing these days? Well, Wordpress automatically provides IP location for every comment.

And, I have not had any problem with Spam in my GMail account so I use my id fearlessly.

oh excuse me for that , I use that emailid it to avoid the very spams on my actual mailbox. thats the other thing these bots do , is collect email address on public pages and spam bam! i pity the person who actually own this gmail id

We have worked together back in Nagarro. The other day I google’d Nagarro and got linked to your your blog liked it , pop’d in my reader list.

Well this brings a good point does wordpress plugin provide ip location stats, something like google analytics.

Well yes, we can take a guess at what’s it working with. Actually, just after I posted this, I got 3 which Akismet did not catch…

But I think what’s remarkable is the speed at which it updates itself. After all, it is a social plugin of sorts where people tell it what is spam and what is not.

Oh by the way, Guess-Me…. who are you, as you seem to be a regular commented here, I would like to know you better.

the spambot is trying to crawl blogs and advertise link in the website option , like I have advertised google.

Hey!.. I posted some comments in this post which were actually fake spam. Did you get those? I was just trying whether your spam blocker delete those or not.. seems they are cleared.. Good protection!

I get a lot of chinese/taiwanese/korean/japanese spam in my email.

I guess the total number of spam is of course co-related to the total number legit comments on your blog.

For example, check out the link to Problogger in the first paragraph. He hit 2 million spam.

I don’t receive much spam comments.. However most out of those I receive are in chinese with some inline links..
