		<description>@Simon, first of all, it is asking you for your FTP details because the WordPress process doesn't have permission to write on your plugins directory.

The FTP details it wants is your hosting provider FTP server where you are running wordpress. Since it cannot write to the plugins directory, it will attempt to FTP the upgrade on your blog.</description>
